Sean Tuten,
MSOM, Dipl. OM (NCCAOM), DOM (NM)
I’ve been teaching Chinese medicine in academic and continuing education settings throughout the U.S. & internationally since 2004. From 2000 - 2008, I co-founded (with Dr. Elizabeth Checchio) and acted as clinical director for the Village Health Project: a non-profit Chinese medicine clinic collaborating with local grassroots organizations and indigenous spirit mediums to combat the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Zimbabwe. I am a former associate professor at Southwest Acupuncture College and founded the Classical Acupuncture Mentorship in 2016. I maintain a private practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
In my personal life I enjoy quality time with friends and family, climbing peaks, relaxing in hot springs, being a nerd, and the Oxford comma.
